Brief Info about Facebook
In the past couple years Facebook has become the most popular social networking websites on the net. Myspace used to be the most popular with the most members, however as time went by Facebook has been the network to join.
It was founded in 2004 by a Harvard dropout, Mark Zuckerberg. The office is pretty tight (trust me), almost like Google, it’s a pretty chill place. The site used to only allow college students, students back then used to only be allowed to join by there college email address. However as time went by they opened the site to high school students, and eventually to all people.

Now to the ads part. The purpose of Facebook was to provide users with a simple site without any ads whatsoever. Facebook overtime grew to 400 employees and needed a source of income. So what did they do? Instead of allowing companies to come and buy ad spots they allowed users to post there own.
Facebook ads is good for people running there own e-commerce business or affiliate offers.
Targeting Audience:
The best part of Facebook ads is that you get to decide which age group you want to target, the geographical area, relationship status (good for promoting dating offers I suppose), and so on.
Once an ad is made Facebook approves the ad and once it’s published your ad begins to run to your target audience.
Budget:
With facebook you get to decide your daily budget, and you pre deposit your money to run ads.
